Richard Meadows, DVM, DABVP is a general practitioner and teacher. He has never been able to limit himself to one subject although veterinary dentistry has been his favorite for the last 20 or so years. He has been a board-certified specialist in Canine and Feline Practice since 1990 and is residency trained in Clinical Pathology. His research has been on eosinophils and the Human Animal Bond. He has taught small animal dentistry, dermatology, parasitology, cytology, communications and shelter medicine to veterinary students and practitioners for the last 22 years at the University of Missouri. He is a Curators' Distinguished Teaching Professor there.
